Judith February

Judith is a lawyer and columnist who is among Africa’s most respected voices on governance and democratic accountability. She is the Executive Officer of Freedom Under Law, a South African rule-of-law advocacy group. Judith’s writings regularly appear in leading South African and international publications. She published Turning & Turning in 2018, a critically praised analysis of democracy in South Africa. From 2009-2024, Judith was an independent, non-executive director of Coronation Fund Managers (with nearly $35B in assets under management) and was also previously a trustee of the Nelson Mandela Foundation. She studied at the University of Cape Town where she obtained her BA (Law & Latin), LIB, and LlM in Commercial Law..

Mark Lamberti

Mark is one of South Africa’s most accomplished business leaders, with the unique credential of having led three public companies in three different sectors at three different points of their life cycle. He took retailer Massmart from six to over two hundred stores in sub-Saharan Africa prior to Walmart purchasing control of the group in one of the largest investments by an American company in South Africa. Mark was subsequently CEO of Transaction Capital, a specialized financial services group, and Imperial Holdings, a global vehicle and logistics holding company. He received his Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Pretoria in 2024. The Lamberti family’s philanthropy is directed primarily at the tertiary education of talented, underprivileged women.

Sarah Wills

Sarah is a seasoned corporate affairs leader, currently serving as CEO of Concordant, a communications and policy advisory firm anchored within PPHC, the world’s largest multi-jurisdictional policy and public affairs group. Sarah was previously Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for Cardinal Health and Chief Communications Officer for GE’s $19B healthcare business. While at GE, Wills also managed a number of strategic initiatives for CEO and Chairman Jeff Immelt and was Immelt's Chief of Staff in his capacity as Chairman of President Barack Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. Sarah is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Illinois Wesleyan University.
